Howdy Ranchers,   Way to go Ranchers, a big thank you to all the parents who sent in Box Tops, Tyson, & Campbell’s labels to school this year. We had the most successful collection year ever at Rutledge! We have collected over $2,500 from Box Tops and over $70.00 from Tyson Project A+.  The money collected was split, 60% going into the classrooms and the rest is going project costs and to PTA programs.  The classroom money is for our wonderful teachers to purchase educational materials for the 2008-09 school year. Big congratulations to the top 3 collecting classrooms for the 2007-08 school year!  They are: 1st Place - Mrs. Belzel's Kindergarten Class won a pizza party for collecting 2,298 Box tops & Labels 2nd Place - Mrs. Nace's 3rd Grade Class won an ice cream party for collecting 2,251 Box tops & Labels 3rd Place - Mrs. Sandobal's Kindergarten Class won a popcorn party for collecting 2,192 Box tops & Labels We collected an amazing 15,941 Campbell’s Labels for Education points!  Wow!  The credit from Campbell’s was used to purchase fun new PE equipment for all of our kids to use next year. We would like to give Ms. Truitt a big thank you for being our collection person at the school and helping us with reminding the teachers of deadlines.  A special thank you also needs to go out to all the parents that helped us clip and sort Box Tops and Labels, especially Pam Downs, Tina Tyson, Mekecia Larson, Katherine Bowman and the many others who pitched in at the end of the year for our final count.  We would also like to thank Ed Downs, our amazing and very patient webmaster, for posting our many messages and updates during the year.  So many other wonderful friends also helped during the year, Thank you so much!!!  We hope you help us next year too! We are ready and excited for an even bigger year next year!!
